Ending the Year on a Good Note

It’s time to start planning for year-end parties. If you want to try something new this year, forget about the same old company party at the office. Your employees will be grateful for the change of scenery and the opportunity for them to dress up in anything other than their usual work attire.

Here are some suggestions for a year-ender to top all previous corporate events:

Be Outdoors

A regular corporate event venue will have an indoor space for you to use, but if you want it to be fun, look for a place in Cottage Grove that has both indoor and outdoor spaces. This gives your employees that sense of freedom that they might complain about not having while cooped up within the four corners of the office. Their cubicles are becoming their world, and getting out of it is a welcome thought.

Have Free-flowing Drinks

Year-enders are all about having fun and being grateful for the year that has ended. Most of your employees will want drinks–preferably one without an imposed limit. If you’re on a budget, of course, you can still limit the drinks per person, but if you are willing to spend on a big event, an open bar can be one of the highlights. Pair it with good food so your employees will not have anything to complain about.

Appreciate Everyone

The owner or CEO of the company is expected to give an encouraging speech. This is your time to thank everyone for their contribution to the success of the company. Remind them that each one is an important member of the team and that you appreciate all the effort they put into their jobs. Now is also the time to mention individuals who have shown dedication to their position.

A year-end party is one of the events your employees look forward to. Give them something fun to end the year with.
