Gravies and sauces are a staple in dishes around the world. After all, chicken from KFC would taste better and would go down your throat more smoothly with gravy. But, gravies are as tricky as dishes themselves, not to mention the amount of time you need to invest to get that perfect mix, taste, and consistency. Good news is, homemade gravies are doable.
Thanks to modern technology and the nearest store, you need not go to the restaurant just to have some gravy for your chicken or mashed potato as you can actually make them easily at the comforts of your homes. Head to the nearest store and grab a pack of dry brown gravy mix from the brand that you prefer. Follow the instructions and next thing you know, you are half way through enjoying your mashed potatoes.
Sometimes, however, instant gravy mixes just won’t cut it as there would be days when you would crave for your grandma’s own version of a gravy. Good news! You can bring it home with you even if you live halfway across the country.
